MarketLink accelerates nationwide dealer network for the myHalo fall monitoring system

Huntsville, Alabama (February 9, 2010) — Halo Monitoring, Inc., provider of the world’s most reliable and easy to use elderly fall monitoring system, announced a strategic partnership with MarketLink Services, the leading provider of outsourced sales and marketing for high technology products.  MarketLink will utilize its nationwide sales force to accelerate Halo’s Authorized Partner Program.

Pamela Martin, VP of Business Development for Halo said, “We have been steadily growing our dealer network since last year.  We are extremely enthusiastic about the MarketLink partnership.  No one can mobilize a nationwide sales force like MarketLink. Our goal is to have a community presence nationwide, maximizing support and accessibility for our users.”

myHalo is the world’s most advanced personal health monitoring and alert system for independently living seniors.  The myHalo system includes two options in wearability – a belt clip (myHalo Clip) or a wearable chest strap (myHalo Complete).  Both offer the clear benefit of the world’s most accurate and easy to use fall detection.  myHalo is capable of automatically detecting when the user has fallen, without having to press a button.  The system allows authorized caregivers the ability to receive a text or phone alert in the event of a serious event, they can also check in on their loved one to confirm they are safe and well.

“MarketLink has been planning an aggressive launch into the health care space and we are ecstatic to be launching this new initiative with such an intriguing solution”, said Dan Dempsey,  CEO of Marketlink.  “Halo Monitoring is a company of talented individuals and a fantastic initial product, making this launch extremely exciting and compelling.”

The myHalo appears to be a very necessary item today’s senior’s need and will need in this 21st century.

I am very aware of the need for this myHalo devise. I was a caregiver for a stroke patient. She was placed on several medications which caused her to fall often. Her falls were life threatening because she was also on high levels of blood thinner.

This combination of factors creates a very dangerous life threatening situation of which your innovative myHalo no button system will provide a level of safety previously not addressed.

I was with the stroke patient when her family Physician explained that he had just lost a stroke patient who fell while his elderly wife was unaware that he fell and he fractured his hip and bled to death in her presence.

  3. Thank you for sharing your tragic story. It is unfortunate, but we hear many, many stories like yours and are pleased to know that we have been able to do a small part to help individuals at risk for falling.
