New Website, Online Store, Resources for seniors, family members, and caregivers

Huntsville, Alabama (February 26, 2010)Halo Monitoring, Inc., provider of the world’s most reliable and easy to use elderly fall monitoring system, announces a new consumer website and launches an online store today, www.halomonitoring.com. Furthering their position as the easiest to use fall management system for elderly adults, www.halomonitoring.com makes it extremely easy for its customers to find relevant resources for care giving. Instructional videos and opportunities to learn about relevant care matters for seniors at risk of falling are offered on the site. The website also includes a new online store, making it easy for customers to subscribe to the myHalo service from anywhere in the United States. The online store features an option to rent the equipment without a commitment to buy.

“We previously had a well known emergency response call button system. My husband fell on two occasions and was too distraught to think of pressing the button, and lay on the floor for around two hours,” said myHalo subscriber Mrs. Bobbora about her 82 year old husband. “I searched the Internet for anything that could help me be alerted automatically if he should fall. Thankfully, I found you and myHalo. myHalo is simple to use, comfortable, and he pretty much forgets he has it on. myHalo has brought me a tremendous amount of peace of mind when I am at work and he is home alone.”

The new website features resources for seniors, their family members, and caregivers; videos and product demonstrations; a company blog; frequently asked questions; and many more heartwarming testimonials like that of Mrs. Bobbora.

“We are very excited about our new website and the online store. We are constantly striving to provide the very best service for our users and their loved ones, and in that spirit will continue to make enhancements to the website,” states Chris A. Otto, CEO of Halo Monitoring. “The website offers tips and information for aging in place and maximizing one’s experience with myHalo.”

One Response to “Halo Monitoring’s Fall Detection Now Available Online Nationally”
  1. I am interested in knowing more.

Will the wearer’s fall be detected by the caregiver no matter where the wearer happens to be? Is there any two-way communication possible (assuming the wearer can speak) if wearer does not have a cell phone within reach?

Is any battery involved? If so, what is notification given to wearer re status of battery.

If wireless, what charges are levied and how?

Is there a seperate charge for the belt itself? IF so, what is it?

Is there a central monitoring agency aware of usage and experience of wearer?

Thank you for your helpfulness with response to these questions.
